Short description: How to develop the more able and talented children and design extra curricular events and activities to support coding, comuting and technology.

Learning objectives

At the end of the session teachers will be able to:

  • Develop ways of stretching the more able and talented children
  • Consider the advantages and benefits of establishing a Digital Leaders programme and how to recruit them.
  • List activities that Digital Leaders can undertake
  • Describe how attainment can be recognised and how Digital Badge schemes work
  • Describe how to set up and running a coding /maker space club
